» Laid the foundation of Madhuraj Nursing home along with her husband Dr. R. K. Loomba in the year 1983. It started as small nursing home with 30 beds. It now stands as a multi-speciality hospital with 125 beds and is rated as one of the best hospitals in the city for critical care and emergency services in various departments.

» Organised National Conference of FOGSI in year 1995.

» Established Kanpur City’s first Laparoscopic Centre in the year 1997 with an expertise in fertility enhancing laparoscopic surgery. Inauguration done by famous Dr. Bhagwanani.

» Organised First International Indo-German workshop / conference in the year 1997

» Organized 2nd Indo-German Endoscopic workshop in the year 1999.

» Organised National Hysteroscopic workshop in 1999 in Madhuraj Hospital in Kanpur with the help of Dr. P. G. Paul and Dr. Nozersheriyar

» Organised Laparoscopic workshop for General Surgeons in the year 1999 with Dr. Pradeep Chaubey

» Organised 3rd Indo-German workshop in the year 2000.

» Established Kanpur City’s first IVF-ICSI centre in the year 2000 under the name of Madhuraj Advanced Infertility IVF-ICSE Centre. Dr. Madhu Loomba became the first doctor to bring the IVF procedure commonly known as test tube baby technique under whose treatment the first test tube baby of the city took birth in the year 2001.

» Elected as president of Kanpur Society of Obstetric & Gynaecology under the banner of FOGSI from the year 2003 to 2006.
